Lionel Scritchie (aka. Lionel C. Scruffycat)

Lionel is an african lion. He appears to be rather literate and logical (for a cat).

He did start the flat-sharing community which currently includes himself, Lori, Mika and Poke, hence the name for the flat, Lionel Scritchie’s Dormitory (LSD).
Lionel always tries to be reasonable and correct, very much like you would imagine from an english gentleman.
He tries to make use of proper language, without too much swearing.
He appears often to be rather independant, most likely a result of his childhood, where his father, Christopher Scruffycat, was not around too often, and he was left to look after himself from a very early age on while his father was on tour to follow up one one of his passions: Singing an songwriting or Archaeology.

When Lionel is not involved in one of his flat-mates crazy adventures, he likes to pass time with a good book and a hot cup of tea or, failing that, the sunday newspaper.

In the year 2003 he met Mika, who is an old friend of Lori. He immediately fell in love with her, turning the logical lion into a stuttering kitten. Mika soon realized Lionel’s state, and found herself also quite drawn to him.
Ever since then they are a couple, and almost a cliché one at that.
